Dr. Milindi Sibomana

Dr. Milindi Sibomana is an accomplished agricultural scientist and the current Chief Agriculture Officer at One Acre Fund Rwanda. With extensive experience in developing and scaling agricultural innovations across Sub-Saharan Africa, he is responsible for creating products and services that reach 1.5 million smallholder client farmers annually. A key aspect of his work is fostering collaborative partnerships with public and private sector stakeholders to successfully achieve and expand impact at scale. Dr Sibomana’s expertise in food systems development encompasses strategic and field-level leadership in several areas: establishing effective farmer advisory systems, designing sustainable seed production business models, and scaling successful processing and exporting agribusinesses. These agribusinesses are particularly notable for their inclusive growth, procuring raw materials from both small- and large-scale farming operations, effectively benefiting the entire value chain.
