KANSIME Caleb

CPA Kansime Caleb is a seasoned finance and audit professional with extensive experience in internal audit, financial management, and governance across both public and private sectors. He currently serves as Head of Internal Audit at East Africa Exchange, where he provides independent assurance and advisory services to strengthen internal controls, risk management, and organizational governance. Prior to joining EAX, Caleb served as Head of Finance and Administration at D-SACCO where he led the successful consolidation of 12 SACCOs into a single entity, enhancing financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. He also worked with the Office of the Auditor General of State Finances as a Principal Auditor (Team Leader), leading audits of government institutions and state-owned enterprises. Earlier in his career, he held the position of Finance and Treasury Manager at Mount Meru Soyco, overseeing treasury operations and financial reporting. Caleb holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Accounting from the University of Kigali and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Rwanda. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR). He brings a strong blend of expertise in audit, finance, and administration, contributing to organizational growth, compliance, and sustainable performance.
